Your One Wild and Precious Life
Multigenerational Service
In Mary Oliver’s poem, Summer Day, she asks many questions asking us to examine whether our daily choices express what we most value—love, creativity, service, curiosity, relationships, or care for the living world. Everyday offers us this opportunity but September seems to be the time that challenges us most to pay attention: be it a new school year, elections, or the turning of the seasons. It’s a fitting time to explore Mary Oliver’s question: “What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” This is a multi-generation service where we will ask and explore questions that can be the compass of a life’s journey. All ages and Zoom attendees are welcome.
