 Special Congregational Meeting

Hello UCNE Members.  

We are holding a Special Congregational Meeting on January 22nd at 12:00 pm.  We want to ensure everyone that wants to participate, can participate.  In order to do so, we are holding our a HYBRID meeting.  Although we hold hybrid services, we are going to need to have a 2-way interaction for those attending via Zoom.

We will be on the Zoom call immediately following the service, in order to allow folks to test and confirm audio and visual are working.

How to prepare for the Zoom Meeting

For those that have been on the Zoom Services, this should be the same setup.  For those that need to be able to TEST your settings and confirm you are able to participate, please see the following:

As Zoom is a new platform for our Annual Meetings, we have established some requirements:

  • All members wishing to vote, MUST have the camera on

  • If there is more than ONE member attending the session, the camera MUST show all members to be counted

  • All Zoom Squares must have full names of Voting participants, not nicknames).

How to change my Zoom Name

SPEAKING

There are 2 methods to communicate with the Executive Committee (EC) during the meeting.

  1. Speaking via Audio (microphone, headset, computer speaker, etc)

  2. Chat (via Zoom Chat screen)

 

The EC will have a dedicated person to watch the CHAT, if you choose to communicate via CHAT.  Otherwise, there will be regular Q&A dedicated to each item on the Warrant and we will allow you to speak during that time, by simply raising your hand and being called by an EC representative.

Please do NOT speak until called upon, just as if you were in person.
