Based in Easton, pianist Asiya Korepanova is praised for her emotionally charged and colorfully nuanced performances. She has toured over 20 countries, won many awards throughout her career, is also highly recognized as a composer, organist, visual artist, and poet.
Born to a musical family in Russia, Asiya made her orchestral debut at the age of nine with Mozart’s Concerto No. 8, playing her own cadenza. Since immigrating to the U.S. in 2012, she has garnered national attention with appearances at Carnegie Hall, Phillips Collection, Newport Classical Festival, Miami International Piano Festival, and many other prestigious venues. She appeared on CNN, NPR stations, WFMT, and WETA.
