Intercultural Resilience

Intercultural resilience is important as we realize that different people share more in common than they realize. Boycotting as a tactic was developed in Ireland in the midst of the famine, was used as a protest of South African Apartheid. There are commonalities of music and dance from people from the African and Celtic diasporas, along with modern hip hop dancing that evolved into moves shown off by Eminem and Snoop Dog. While xenophobia is raging across the world, we see strength rising from cultural sharing that forges deep resilience to the difficulties of life.
